The Squire Euro Jig is a unique jig that allows locksmiths to adapt 71mm
double Europrofile cylinders to fit Squire Stronghold 'E' version locks
quickly and easily.
The Euro Jig is supplied with full instructions.





Adapting a 71mm double europrofile cylinder to fit an SS50 lock body.
1. Place the europrofile cylinder in jig,
place in vice and using a hacksaw cut the cylinder in half along the line
of the jig.
2. File the cylinder flush to the top of the jig right up to the barrel.
3. Remove the half cylinder, turn it around and replace in the jig cavity.
File any protrusions flush to the jig face.
4. File the drive slots making certain that they are 4mm wide.
5. Using drill supplied, drill a hole into the europrofile cylinder using
the pilot hole on the base of the jig.
6. Remove cylinder from the jig and tap hole to a minimum 4mm depth.
7. Fix half euro cylinder into the lock body and secure.



Adapting a 71mm double europrofile cylinder to fit an SS65 lock body.
1. Place spacer and then the europrofile
cylinder into the jig, secure in the vice and using a hacksaw cut the cylinder
in half along the line of the jig.
2. File the cylinder bible flush to the top of the jig right up to the barrel.
3. Remove the half cylinder, turn it around and replace in the jig cavity.
File any extrusions flush to the jig face.
Note: if the drive slots are at right angles to the cylinder, then you will
need to make new drive slots which run parallel to the bible.
4. Fix half euro cylinder into the lock body and secure.
