Squire becomes sole UK distributor for Trelock
under exclusive alliance
A new international alliance between two top names in locks and bicycle components will see Trelock products being sold exclusively in the UK and Ireland by Henry Squire & Sons Ltd.
Germany's Trelock GmbH has teamed up with Midlands based Squire which immediately becomes sole distributor of Trelock's full product range to independent bike dealers.
The Trelock bicycle and motorcycle locks, bicycle lights, bicycle computers and pulse meters, previously supplied by Fisher Outdoor Leisure, will now be sold exclusively by Squire.
Both companies are recognised worldwide for their innovative technology and high quality products with competitive pricing and market-leading point of sale material.
Squire's managing director John Squire said: 'The advantage for the bike dealer consists of a clear two brand strategy with a wide offer of innovative bicycle accessories."
Squire will supply the full Trelock product range, including the recent new product lines of bicycle computers and Trelock's new light system EcopowerTM.
EcopowerTM promises users a 70 per cent longer life span and a 50 per cent energy saving when compared to conventional halogen lights for bicycles.
In the bicycle computer market, Trelock is introducing two new lines - Cockpit2 and Bike & Body Control® - which send and receive data via fully digital radio select® data communication under the most extreme circumstances and applications.
Using the Bike & Body Control®, cyclists can measure all the important training parameters - pulse frequency, cadence, speed, distance, height and time - at any chosen time.
The range of information systems is completed with the introduction of a new line of Body Trainers, which offer electrocardiogram-precise heart rate measurement and lifestyle-orientated wrist computers with Geocoaching functions.
In the UK, Trelock is best known for its locks and many new products are set to be launched. Made from TredurTM steel alloy, they will feature the Armadon 360oTM mechanism and Precision Lock CylinderTM which are able to withstand the most brutal attacks from thieves. Sold Secure approval and a key replacement service are provided.
