Stronger Together

At Squire, we’re proud to support and partner with charities and initiatives that help build communities as strong as our padlocks.

Whether it’s helping to fund grassroot
sports, supporting youth programs, or getting involved with projects that protect our environment, we’re committed to making a positive difference where it matters most.

Band of Builders – Community Partners

Band of Builders is known across the UK for its incredible work transforming the lives of tradespeople and their families through practical projects - from adapting homes to making essential repairs for those affected by illness or injury. The charity brings together volunteers from all corners of the building trade to carry out these life changing projects.

Now in its ninth year, Band of Builders has completed over 30 projects with an estimated value of over £1million. In addition to physical support, Band of Builders also provides financial aid and wellbeing support to those struggling with their mental health.

As Associate Supporters of the charity, we aim to support Band of Builders’ projects, donating our high-quality security solutions to help secure work sites, tools and materials.

LIFEBeat - Community Partners

LIFEbeat is a charity which aims to transform the lives of young people by teaching them the skills they need to navigate the challenges they may face in their lives. Creativity and the arts are at the heart of everything LIFEbeat does, and the charity uses this to inspire both the young people and youth workers it’s working with.

One way LIFEbeat does this is through its annual Creative Community Summer Camp, which brings together young people from London with disadvantaged backgrounds to offer them a safe, supportive environment to
share their stories while giving them access to creative personal development workshops.

Squire is proud to support this cause and charity match anything that is raised through its annual fundraising campaign.

Trash Free Trails – Project Partners

Trash Free Trails’ mission is to help people reconnect with nature through removing single-use plastic pollution from wild spaces. So far the project has cleared over 450,000 pieces of single-use pollution, creating nearly 11,000km of trash free trails.

As project partners Squire has supplied padlocks for A-Teamer use whilst out on trails and at events, as well as providing locks for its GeoTrash initiative – keeping the
GeoTrash boxes safe and sound across the country in all sorts of weather.

Our very own Neil Hudson has run Trash Free Trail activations at cycle shows across the UK and is one of the Trash Free Trails A-Team Ambassadors for the Cannock Chase area, working closely with the Trash Free team.

XO Bikes –Supporting Partner

Onwards & Upwards is a charity that creates businesses specifically to inspire, train and employ prison leavers. The first of their five businesses is XO Bikes which began in March 2022. XO Bikes is a business that refurbishes and sells donated bikes. Their skilled team of ‘fixers’ (mechanics) have been to prison or were heading down that road but through the training and opportunities offered by XO Bikes have had the chance to learn new skills and turn their lives around.

All profits from XO bike sales go back into training and hiring more prison leavers, keeping them in work, and out of prison.

Throughout the year Squire has committed to raising funds for the charity, most recently via a 75km cycle which raised nearly £7000 for the charity.
